To change your screen size in Windows 95/98:
Click START
Click SETTINGS
Click CONTROL PANEL
Double-Click DISPLAY
Click the SETTINGS tab on far right
In the section "Desktop Area"
Change from 640x480 to 800x600
Note: Look to the left at the Color Palette.
Check to see if your PC can maintain 16-bit color at this resolution.
